Ellen Ross
Founder & CEO
My name is Ellen Ross, and I am the founder of EMS Tutoring. I am a licensed high school mathematics teacher with more than 20 years of experience in education. Throughout my career, I have taught elementary, middle, and high school students across multiple school districts. My experience includes teaching academic, honors, and Advanced Placement courses, as well as working with students in exceptional student education and alternative education settings.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Secondary Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Mathematics Teaching and Learning. My broad experience and commitment to education allow me to understand each student’s unique needs and provide personalized support that builds confidence, strengthens mathematical skills, and encourages academic success.
