Meet Your Tutor
As founder of EMS Tutoring, I am passionate about helping students reach their full academic potential. I am a high school math teacher with over 20 years of experience, and I genuinely love supporting students as they grow in confidence and mastery.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a diverse range of learners and educational settings including: general education, exceptional education, and alternative education at both middle and high schools across multiple districts in North Carolina. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary Education), credentials that have shaped my instructional approach and the way I guide student learning.
My goal has always been the same: build competence, build confidence, and ensure every student feels capable of success.
